Congratulations to Clement “Kaiso Brat” Richards who dethroned Leroy “King Beau Beau” Brooks in two rounds of Calypso action.
Richards led 10 Calypsonians into the finals and managed to oust Brooks with an overwhelming 519 points. His “Lego Massa Titty” song proved to still be a hit among St. Maarten Calypso fans.
He bested second-place winner Alberto “Fish da Mega Boss” by 50 points. Last year’s winner and 11-time champ, Brooks finished third place with 468 points.
