SIGN UP FOR ROCK THE HOUSE 2008!
Registration is now open for singers, dancers, rappers and amateur DJs to get into Rock The House 2k8, the only competitive talent show on St. Maarten/St. Martin where the audience judges.
You read right! YOU judge which of the performers does best and YOU are responsible for making sure your favorites win. Your cheers decide the winner!
Laugh Out Loud (LOL) Productions is hosting the second annual Rock The House on Saturday, August 2, at the L.B. Scot Sports Auditorium where all of the youngest talents on St. Maarten/St. Martin will show off just what they can do to win YOUR approval. Never before has there been some much before in the audience stands!
Rock The House is different from most talent competitions on St. Maarten/St. Martin because it gives new and up-and-coming DJs a chance to show off what they have in front of crowds – to see what works and what doesn’t work. “Aspiring Dj’s will get a chance to showcase them self in front of a live audience,” LOL says. “This will give them a chance to get familiar with the public.”
Already, six rappers, five dance groups, three singers and four amateurs Dj’s singed up for the competition.
Hosts for Rock The House 2k8 are top comedians Andrew Dick and Dwayne Cameron while the island’s two best DJs – Cut creator DJ Outkast and Mix Master Pauly – will also be on hand to assist the amateur DJs at the event.
