Who is next?

Young people are the future, that is what comes to mind when a politician, teacher, mother, father always say. What makes young people drop like flies these past years in St. Maarten. If it’s not a gun shot, is a motor bike and if it’s not that then is drowning  at the beach.

I know you must be sick and tired of hearing about the police and teachers saying is BET, that’s what got them so. We at More Bacchanal have a simple opinion when it comes to this. The reason why this is happening to our young people today is because of they don’t value their life. Allow us to explain

If someone comes up to you and pushes you off? What do you do? do you A run for your life and be glad that you get away or B do you defend your self and fight.

I know what most of the answers will be, I aint no pussy, I got to do what I need to do!!! Well that’s what we mean if you valued your life you would think twice and try to avoid the situation as much as possible. Now we know what your thinking what about those motorbike accident, well we got a good advice for those people too and we think you will agree. Are you ready? SLOW DOWN that’s it no long talk simple.

Here are some tips, hope you take them.

Talk out issues.  Talk things out instead of bullying,
teasing, or talking about others.

Seek help.  If you feel stressed or depressed, reach
out to a friend, family member, or another trusted adult.

 Keep yourself safe.  Let friends and family know
where you are and who you are with.

 No matter how you feel, never
take these feelings out on others by hitting,
 Avoid drugs and alcohol.  Stay away from alcohol
shoving, or pushing someone, or using a weapon. (Yes we mean Jump up, especially in Jump up)

 try some of these tips to help control your
 Learn other ways instead of fighting to resolve
anger or sadness and maintain a sense of self-

We do hope that we inspired you to be a better person and hope that the next time you come in a confrontation you stop and think and then act. Please we are tired of seeing a bunch of R.I.P all over because of a young person dying for a dumb reason. We don’t want you to go period.
