Jamaican superstar Windel Beneto Edwards, better known as Gyptian, blazed up Tantra for a night of new-age reggae. Tantra was an inferno with 600+ Gyptian fans crowding their way in.
Gyptian took a while to hit the stage at Tantra early Saturday, but the performance was worth the wait.
Singing popular classics like “Serious Times” and “Mama,” Gyptian rocked the hundreds of fans who encircled the stage, crowding each other to see him.
Needless to say, it got hot fast. Mixmaster Pauly’s selection was on point, with a combination of dancehall, soca, and hip-hop – and a dash here and there of Latin and zouk.
