United Task Force Against Crime will be marching through Philipsburg Saturday to protest rampant crime on the island. In a press statement Monday, they asked the community to join them.

UTFAC is planning a mixed march and candlelight vigil from John Larmonie Center to the Government Administration Building this Saturday, July 31. They want all marchers to wear white T-shirts and carry candles or lights with them.
“Crime is everybody’s business and right now our little island is slowly turning into a paradise for criminals,” UTFACE said in a message. “[It’s] time to get up and show that we will not tolerate those in our midst who are hell-bent on destroying our well being.”
Anyone who needs more information can contact UTFAC members Clarence Richardson, Lenny Priest, Jadira Veen, Benjamin Kelly and Mercedes “Elektra” Wyatt.
